The Butcher and the Beaver

About This Blog

This blog is about what interests Stefan Hollos and Richard Hollos, so it's going to include lots of stuff on math, physics, finance, economics, and computer programming, but can include other things.

The name of the blog refers to characters in Lewis Carroll's The Hunting of the Snark. To us, the butcher represents the world of man, and the beaver that of nature.

We would like to thank Moritz Heidkamp for his static website generator program Hyde, and Christian Kellerman for his Hyde blogging engine, which made the implementation of this blog possible.

Math rendering on this blog is done by MathJax.
