I have degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics. I am interested in just about everything that comes under the rubric of complex systems theory. This includes the seemingly mundane topics of statistics and data/time series analysis and the obviously exciting topics of information and complexity theory.
I am currently very much interested in economics in general and quantitative finance in particular. This is an area full of interesting problems. My brother Richard and I have recently finished a book related to asset allocation called: Bet Smart: The Kelly System for Gambling and Investing
