Redstem Filaree Leaf
Here is the leaf of a redstem filaree (Erodium cicutarium) plant. Native to north Africa, it was introduced to California, circa 1769, by Spanish missionaries, and now grows throughout the Desert Southwest.
Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm) on a 7 mm long extension tube.
