Here is a rock, about the size of a fist, with both quartz and granite in Deadman Gulch, part of the foothills of Boulder County, Colorado. The quartz appears to have glued chunks of granite together. This picture was taken on January 13, 2021.

Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm).
